Eliah Iko Karov was born on March 29th, 1986, in Skopje.
He graduated from “Lazar Lichenoski”, a secondary school for fine arts, where he attained the basic knowledge of the classic fine art. Then he continued his education at the New Bulgarian University in Sofia, at the Faculty of Television and Film Directing and later completed his study at the ESRA University of Audio and Visual Arts in Skopje, also at the Faculty of TV and Film Directing.
So far Karov has directed and written several short films, commercials, corporate videos, music spots, short documentaries, and TV films.
In 2008 he directed the video for one of the internationally most awarded campaigns in the marketing history of RN Macedonia.
In 2018 Iko Karov had his debut in the literary world of RN Macedonia, with the novel titled “A story about the man who broke all his promises”.
This is Karov’s first feature film.
